Gluten-free Copenhagen?

We are off to Copenhagen for a long weekend. I decided to create a Google Map this time to help us visualize where we are in relation to possible restaurants that accommodate Gluten Free meals. Nothing is worse that being hungry and realizing that the few GF options are on the other side of town. We'll see if this helps reduce the number of hunger-ridden quests for GF food.  I was about to type how Copenhagen seems to be very GF friendly because it has around 13 restaurants that have GF options. A quick Google Search says that there are over 1500 restaurants in Copenhagen. That is less than 1% of restaurants in Copenhagen that might have GF options (as we all know that there could be cross-contamination issues or only one GF dish available). That is actually pretty depressing when you think about it. Here's to hoping the food is GF and good tasting!  Link to GF Map of Copenhagen

Here we go...again...

This is my third . . . Maybe fourth attempt at a blog. The others were about my personal life, which is difficult when you are an introvert and don't want people all up in your business.  This blog should be more about the challenges and successes of being the parent to a person with Celiac Disease and the importance of the acceptance and inclusion of the gluten-free lifestyle.  Here we go!
